Frisal residents demand ATM facility

Kulgam, Jan 10: The residents of Frisal in South Kashmir,s Kulgam district have demanded Jammu and Kashmir Bank And Punjab national Bank authorities to provide an ATM facility in the area, saying they are being forced to travel several kilometers to withdraw the cash.
Inhabitants told the news angency __ Kashmir press news (KPN) that the authorities have failed to provide an ATM facility here .People of frisal have to go to other areas like Khudwani, Arwani, Qaimoh and other for visiting ATMs thereby leaving the residents of these areas lurch at large.
The residents said they have to visit any of ATMs at Yaripora ,Khudwani,Qaimoh,Arwani or Kulgam to avail cash which is adding to the miseries of the people here
Arif billah , a local resident said that Frisal being a TehsiL and a largely populated area should be provided with two ATMs one by each bank ; At least there should be one ATM at an earliest so that we could have a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile, the residents appealed to the higher Ups of the J&k Bank and PN Bank to personally look into the matter. (KPN)
