Tehsildar Mrs Nusrat Visits the Spot Lodges FIR in this Regard

Budgam,Mar 8: The Inhabitants of Abaadpora Sholiepora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday protested outside the DC office Budgam against the establishment of new brick kiln in their village.

The protestors while talking to CNS correspondent said that the establishment of the brick kiln in the area will make the fertile agriculture land barren, which will make it unsuitable for cultivation.

They added that they have orchards and paddy fields around the spot and the kiln will leave the disastrous impact on the animal, plant and human life of the area.

When CNS contacted the concerned Tehsildar Mrs Nusrat, She said, “FIR has already been registered against the Ali Mohamad Magray, son of Mohammad Magray, resident of Parishapora, Budgam for trying to establish the brick kiln without any proper permission”.

She added that she herself visited on the spot and took the necessary action within an ambit of law laid down by the concerned authorities.

While the residents alleged that the brick owner has uprooted the hundreds of apple trees for the project, on the other hand the application of an FIR filed by the concerned Tehsildar mentions the same. (CNS)
